If you are a history or traditional architecture lover, our small typical Catalan village with its church with its crenellated tower (14th century), its maze of narrow streets, its ramparts, its markets, its crafts, its festivals… will delight the most curious among you. Come and discover this charming little town of Spanish origin which became French in 1659.

Collioure

The jewel of the Côte Vermeille and a land of artists, Collioure is located 8 kilometres from our establishment. On foot, by bike, by boat or by car, this pretty little village is easy to reach.
Thanks to its natural setting, Collioure, the cradle of Fauvism, Pointillism and poetry, has become the place of artistic movements and thoughts. Matisse, Derain, Machado, so many artists who will thrill you in this open-air museum!

Steeped in Catalan culture and traditions, you will enjoy strolling through its authentic streets, discovering its artists’ shops and its small restaurants where you can taste, at the foot of the Collioure bell tower, typical Catalan specialities such as anchovies or fish parillades. Collioure is home to a cultural and historical heritage that cannot be ignored, such as the Royal Castle built in the Middle Ages.

Collioure and Banyuls will also charm you with their exceptional vineyards which will delight wine lovers. Terraced vineyards, natural sweet wines aged in oak barrels, the local vineyards will delight all your senses!

For nature lovers, the hinterland and its many hiking trails will allow you to discover the typical local fauna and flora forgetting the splendid panoramic view that will reward the most motivated!

At thirty kilometres, Perpignan opens its doors to you for a visit of his beautiful historic center. Perpignan is an emblematic place of Catalan culture: Palace of the Kings of Majorca , Castillet, the Sea Lodge and the majestic Cathedral of Saint-Jean Baptiste built in the 14th century.
Photography lovers you can find every year, in September, in this city the famous international festival of photojournalism “Visa pour l’Image”.

Do you like historic monument! Come here! Not far away, to the north of Perpignan, you can visit a fortress of Salses-le-Château dating from the end of the 15th century. Built by the Spanish Catholic kings, Ferdinand II of Aragon and Isabella of Castile, this historical monument located near the pond of Leucate is a very beautiful example of the military heritage of the Roussillon.
