Helios and PMR accessibility at Camping la Sardane
At La Sardane, the well-being of our guests is our primary concern, and people with reduced mobility are not excluded – quite the contrary. Yes, La Sardane is an ideal place to take a break, where time seems to pass slowly between moments of joy and tranquillity. The hourglass turns and turns, but the grains of
sand seem to be in constant suspension, allowing a total disconnection from everyday worries.
Here, anxiety gives way to happiness and good humor in all simplicity.
While in conventional life, access for people with reduced mobility is rarely considered, La Sardane, a real bubble in time, has put its heart and soul into making people with reduced mobility feel at home in
total serenity. Yes, at La Sardane, “forget your handicap”. Move around with ease
inside or outside your home.
The Hélios home has been optimized for people with reduced mobility, and will meet the needs of the widest possible range of handicaps.
The living areas are wheelchair-accessible and adapted to the needs of wheelchair users, and many strategiclocations
are equipped with markers for the visually impaired and grab bars to facilitate transfers. Access to the home is made easy
via a wooded ramp opening onto a long, newly-covered terrace for added peace of mind, comfort and safety.
Don’t hesitate to take advantage of the fresh Mediterranean air. Whatever the weather, laugh, toast and
share wonderful moments, rain or shine, during the day or under the starry sky!
In addition to the special accommodation on the newly-covered terrace, the establishment’s infrastructure has also been significantly upgraded. A dedicated parking space for people with reduced mobility in front of the reception
will be available this year, to make your arrival easier during the hustle and bustle of the season. An elevator
with bell is available for safe entry to the
reception area. Some staircases, such as those in bathroom 2, have been dismantled to make way for a smooth, flat floor.
Various ramps have already been installed, such as those at the restaurant and grocery store;
the main roads are well thought out, with marker strips for the visually impaired in many places, and special PRM sanitary facilities are available free of charge on request. As for the aquatic area, it has been designed to facilitate wheelchair access, and wheelchair access to the water is available on request.
What’s more, in addition to the material aspects, which include accommodation and general infrastructure, the entire staff at La Sardane is sincerely committed. Many efforts have been made to ensure that young and old, athletes and beginners, able-bodied and disabled alike, feel considered at Camping La Sardane… Our concern for the well-being of ALL our guests is affirmed, and that’s not about to change…
