WORKING TOGETHER TO PRESERVE WATER RESOURCES
#Sècheresse
The cycle of the 4 seasons is a constant dance necessary for the survival of Humanity. With winter failing to bring the expected rains, the drought we’re experiencing today is unprecedented. The water tables in the Roussillon plain are drying up more and more every day. Theenvironmental emergency can no longer be denied. We are all aware of it
and informed about it.
Camping La Sardane’s primary concern is the well-being of its guests, but also that of our dear Mother Earth. Its pro-environmental policy has been more than tangible for several years now. Its internal and external actions are in line with this policy, and are constantly being strengthened by the daily search for the tiniest leak, the installation of water meters, the
reduction in water flow, the reuse of water for watering, the use of aerators on taps, etc.
A veritable melody between prevention and reaction. The efforts we’ve made are significant, but in the face of this alarming situation, they don’t seem to be enough.
The fight against water waste is within everyone’s reach, from the smallest to the largest. Yes, there are no small gestures, and all have a significant impact on the environment. That’s why, as a local player, La Sardane appeals to the responsibility of its holidaymakers and sincerely hopes
that they will work hand in hand with us to preserve the interests of the Earth.
The “anti-waste of water” actions are vast. We ask each and every one of you to avoid wasting water by taking short showers, limiting the flow of water when washing dishes, and optimizing the filling of washing machines and dishwashers. In the event of a leak, we
kindly ask you to report it to reception so that they can react quickly.
Finally, this responsibility also includesavoiding water games, watering vehicles, paddles and plantations.
So, for the Present and the Future, for our heirs and biodiversity ;
let’s act together and celebrate Nature!!!
